MEET ANNIE
Hi, I’m Annie! :)
Glad you could make it! I am a born & bred Jersey Girl, who lives by the phrase “GO BIG OR GO HOME” (and I always chose go big)! Since I was lucky enough to grow up right next door to the big apple, I developed an unwavering passion for the arts at a very young age. My mom always likes to remind me that I practically came out of the womb belting Disney songs and would refuse to leave the house if I was not wearing a princess dress.
I began dancing at a competitive dance studio when I was three years old and studied there until I graduated from high school. I continued my training as a Musical Theatre major (and Business minor) at James Madison University and as a member of the school’s official dance team, known as the JMU Dukettes. GO DUKES!!!
Although I have always loved musical theatre, I attempted numerous other activities before deciding to focus my most of my energy on the arts. These activities ranged from competitive swimming to cheerleading, and to my personal favorite, field hockey, which I played for 3 years in high school (and continue to dabble in a bit today)!
When I’m not on stage or in a dance studio, I try to spend as much free time as I can with my friends and family. I greatly prioritize the current relationships I have and look forward to all the ones I will make in the future. Something I love about the performing arts industry is that you never stop meeting new people! In my work, I look to cultivate strong connections not only on, but also off the stage. I pride myself in being hardworking, dedicated, and always looking to try new things!
